What affects the price
The price on the phone is the price at the door. We quote the total before dispatch and you approve it before work begins. If something changes once we see the lock, we stop and tell you first.
- Lock or hardware typeA standard deadbolt, a high-security cylinder and a smart lock are different jobs.
- Vehicle and key typeMake, model and year; mechanical, transponder, remote or push-to-start key.
- ComplexityOpening a latch vs. a thrown deadbolt; one cylinder vs. a whole building.
- TimeEvening and short-notice work can cost more than a scheduled daytime visit.
- LocationHow far the nearest technician has to drive, and access (gates, garages).
- Required partsCylinders, locks, key blanks, chips and fobs, itemized on the invoice.
Why no "starting at" prices?
The most common locksmith complaint in South Florida starts with a tiny price on a website or a phone call, a "service call" figure that has nothing to do with the final bill. We'd rather give you a real total for your lock, your vehicle and your location than advertise a number that isn't the real price. Read how the locksmith bait-and-switch works.
Questions to ask any locksmith, including us
- "What's the total price, including everything?" Not the service call. The total.
- "What could change it once you see the lock?" A straight answer is a good sign.
- "What's your business name?" Then look it up.
- "Will I get an itemized invoice?"
Our policies
- Price before dispatch: you hear the total before anyone heads your way.
- Approval before work: nothing starts until you approve the price at the door.
- No surprises: if the job changes, we stop and re-quote. You can say no.
- Itemized invoice: labor and parts, line by line, with our business name.
