How much does a locksmith cost in Broward or Palm Beach County?
It depends on the lock or vehicle, the key type, the time, your location and any parts needed. We quote the total on the phone before dispatch, and you approve it before work begins. We don't advertise a low 'starting at' price that isn't the real price.
How does pricing work before dispatch?
Tell us what's locked or what you need, and where you are. We give you the total price and an honest ETA. If you say yes, we head your way; at the door we confirm the price again before any work. If something changes once we see the lock, we stop and tell you first.
Can you unlock a car without damage?
In almost all cases, yes. We use professional wedge-and-reach tools designed not to damage paint, glass or weatherstripping, and we tell you before starting if your vehicle needs extra care.
Can you make a car key if all keys are lost?
For most vehicles, yes, at the car. The key is cut from the vehicle's key code or decoded from a lock and programmed to the car. Some newer vehicles are dealer-only, and we'll tell you on the phone.
Can you rekey a home instead of replacing the locks?
Usually, yes. Rekeying changes the pins so old keys stop working, and you keep your hardware. It costs much less than new locks. We'll tell you honestly if a lock is too worn to rekey.
Do you install smart locks?
Yes: keypad, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and smart-home locks, installed with the door aligned so the bolt throws smoothly, set up and tested before we leave.
Do you work with property managers?
Yes. Turnover rekeys, tenant lockouts, master key systems and common-area hardware, quoted per job with an itemized invoice.
What do I need to show before you unlock a home or vehicle?
For a home: ID with the address, a lease or someone who can vouch for you. For a vehicle: ID and the registration or title. If documents are locked inside, we open up and check them together.
What are your hours?
Sunday to Thursday 7 AM to 9 PM, Friday 7 AM to 2 PM, closed Saturday. Outside those hours, text us or send a request online and we'll call when we open.
