A locksmith property managers can call without chasing.

Turnover rekeys, tenant lockouts, lost keys, master key systems and common-area hardware for apartment communities, HOAs, condo associations and landlords across Broward and Palm Beach County.

For managed properties

  • Apartment & turnover rekeys
  • Tenant lockouts, verified
  • Master key systems
  • Smart & keypad locks
  • Commercial door hardware
  • Itemized invoice per unit

What we handle for managed properties

  • Turnover rekeys: every unit, every time a tenant changes. Quick, and far cheaper than new hardware. See rekeying.
  • Tenant lockouts: we verify the tenant against your records or lease before opening. See lockouts.
  • Lost keys: rekey the affected unit or, on a master system, the affected level only.
  • Master key systems: units, common areas, maintenance and management on one planned system. See master key systems.
  • Smart and keypad locks: a new code at turnover instead of a rekey. See smart locks.
  • Commercial door hardware: closers, panic bars on common-area exits, storefront and gate hardware. See commercial locksmith.
  • Keypad entry for shared doors: mail rooms, gyms and back doors on codes instead of keys. See access control.
  • Short-term rentals (Airbnb and similar): keypad or smart locks with a code per guest, or a rekey whenever a key goes missing.

How working with us is set up

Tell us the properties and who's authorized to approve work. For each job, we quote before dispatch and send an itemized invoice with the unit or door noted. We'll follow your rules for tenant verification and key handling. We don't sell response-time contracts. What we do offer is a straight quote, an honest ETA and clean paperwork on every job.

Tenant lockouts: verification

We'll only open a unit for someone you've authorized or whose ID matches your records or lease. If your office is closed, tell us how you'd like us to verify (for example, a call to an on-call manager). It protects your tenants and you.

Turnover checklist we recommend

  1. Rekey the unit door and deadbolt to a new key, and key them alike.
  2. Check that the deadbolt throws fully and the strike is reinforced.
  3. Service sliders and patio doors, especially near the coast.
  4. If you use keypad locks, delete the old tenant's code and set the new one.
  5. Log the new key or code.

Where we work

We work with properties across Broward County (Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach and more) and Palm Beach County (Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach), plus North Miami-Dade.

Pricing for managed properties

The price on the phone is the price at the door. We quote the total before dispatch and you approve it before work begins. If something changes once we see the lock, we stop and tell you first.

  • Lock or hardware typeA standard deadbolt, a high-security cylinder and a smart lock are different jobs.
  • Vehicle and key typeMake, model and year; mechanical, transponder, remote or push-to-start key.
  • ComplexityOpening a latch vs. a thrown deadbolt; one cylinder vs. a whole building.
  • TimeEvening and short-notice work can cost more than a scheduled daytime visit.
  • LocationHow far the nearest technician has to drive, and access (gates, garages).
  • Required partsCylinders, locks, key blanks, chips and fobs, itemized on the invoice.

Batch jobs (several units in one visit) are quoted together before we start.

Property manager questions

Do you offer service contracts?

We work per job, with a quote before dispatch and an itemized invoice every time. Tell us your properties and approval process and we'll follow it.

Can you rekey many units in one visit?

Yes. Send us the list of units and we'll quote the batch.

How do you verify tenants for lockouts?

Against your records or the lease, or through a manager you authorize. We don't open units for unverified people.

Can you set up keypad locks across our units?

Yes. It's often cheaper over time than rekeying at every turnover.
