High-rise lockouts in Brickell and Downtown

Most Brickell and Downtown lockouts involve more than one door: the unit, plus the lobby desk, a garage gate and a fob-controlled elevator. Tell us the building when you call. It helps to let the front desk know a locksmith is coming, and to have ID ready. Many buildings won't let us up without management's okay, and they're right not to.

Unit doors in newer towers often use mortise locks or electronic locks installed by the developer. If the building supplied the lock, management may have a master key or a rule about who can service it. We'll ask the right questions so nobody wastes a trip.

Older homes: the Roads, Shenandoah, Little Havana, Coconut Grove

Miami's older neighborhoods are full of 1920s–1950s houses with original doors, jalousie windows and hardware that has been painted over a dozen times. Old mortise locks can often be repaired and rekeyed instead of replaced, which keeps the character of the door. When they can't, we'll fit modern hardware that suits the door rather than drilling a new, oversized hole in solid old wood.

Wynwood, Allapattah and the Design District: shops, studios and warehouses

Roll-up doors, storefront deadlatches, padlocked gates and a lot of people with keys: commercial space in Miami's arts and design districts turns over often. When a tenant or employee leaves, rekeying the affected doors is fast. If you keep rekeying, it's time for a restricted keyway or keypad access. See commercial locksmith services.

Car lockouts around the city

Bayside, Kaseya Center events, Wynwood street parking, Calle Ocho: we come to the car. Tell us the garage level or the cross streets, and the make, model and year. Traffic on I-95, the Dolphin and US-1 decides how fast anyone can get to you, so we give you an honest ETA rather than a promise.

Pricing

Every job is quoted before dispatch.

Other factors: the lock or hardware, the vehicle and key type, complexity, the time, your location and any parts. The price on the phone is the price at the door: quoted before dispatch, approved before work begins. How our pricing works.
